Do I need to buy any new equipment?
Absolutely not. We work with whatever devices you already own — your current smartphone, tablet, computer, or TV. If you do decide you want a new device, we can offer guidance, but there is never any pressure to purchase anything.
Is it safe to have a tutor in my home?
Your safety is our top priority. Every SkillBuilder tutor undergoes a thorough national background check and identity verification before their first session. We are also fully insured and bonded. You are welcome to have a family member present for any or all sessions.
Can I book recurring, regular sessions?
Yes, and many clients prefer this! Regular weekly or bi-weekly sessions allow you to build on what you've learned at a comfortable, consistent pace. We also offer session packages at a discounted rate.
What if I forget everything between sessions?
That's completely normal and nothing to worry about. We always start each session with a friendly review of what we covered last time. Plus, we leave you with printed, large-text step-by-step notes after every session so you can practice on your own.
